Stir Fry

I got two beautiful filet mignon’s. Since they are so tender and delicious, but so expensive, I bulked up dinner with lots of vegetables and brown rice. It turned out to be a really tasty dinner…
First, I seared the meat (that was salt and peppered and sat out for fifteen minutes) in a hot pan with a couple tablespoons of grapeseed oil very quickly, i’m talking like 2 minutes, or you’ve over cooked it cause it’s THAT good! Put it aside on a plate. Now throw the veggies of your choice in the pan and cook quickly. Put these aside on another plate. Deglaze the hot pan with some white wine, stoneground dijon, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, a splash of worcestershire , hot sauce to your liking (i prefer a few squirts of sriracha). After the sauce simmers a bit, whirl the meat and veggies back in it and serve immediately over the rice. Enjoy!
